Architects are back with a new video for “Day In Day Out,” the first single from the highly anticipated album The Here And Now, which is set to drop on January 24.

The pessimistic cries of “sell out” have already begun from some fans, while others are accepting the band’s evolution. Yes, Architects appear to have moved away from the more techy elements of their previous works, but this is by no means a half-assed attempt. They are still the same brutal Architects that we have grown to love, Sam’s vocal range has certainly improved both screaming and clean and they are showing that they are not just a one-trick pony.

Personally I’m all for bands testing the limits, look what’s happened to Bring Me The Horizon’s latest effort. Architects definitely have the potential to follow in their footsteps, flying the flag high for British metal.

Check out the video and let us know what you think. If you decide you hate it, fine, but don’t go running your mouth around commenting everywhere about how they have “sold out,” or aren’t the same band anymore etc etc. Nobody really cares if you hate it, leave the commenting for those that genuinely appreciate it.

I like it! The video is a bit strange…but the track is good; it almost has a sort of steady sound to it.
